Screen Memos — Privacy Policy

Screen Memos does not collect any data. Everything you record stays on your Mac.

What the app does not do

• It has no account and no sign-in.
• It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
• It makes no network connections. The app has no permission to access the network at all.

What stays on your Mac

• Recordings are saved to the Movies folder (Movies › Screen Memos). Only you decide what to do with them.
• While the app is running, it keeps the last few minutes of system audio so you can save them afterwards. This buffer lives in a temporary folder inside the app's own sandbox on your Mac; older audio is deleted as new audio arrives, and nothing leaves that folder unless you press save. The buffer is erased when you quit the app or turn it off in Settings.
• Your settings are stored in the app's preferences on your Mac.

Permissions

macOS asks for your permission before the app can record the screen, system audio or the microphone. The app uses them only to make the recordings you start. You can revoke any of them in System Settings › Privacy & Security.

Що лишається на твоєму Mac

• Записи зберігаються в теці «Фільми» (Фільми › Screen Memos). Що з ними робити, вирішуєш лише ти.
• Поки програма працює, вона зберігає останні кілька хвилин системного звуку, щоб їх можна було зберегти заднім числом. Цей буфер лежить у тимчасовій теці у власній пісочниці програми на твоєму Mac; старий звук видаляється, щойно надходить новий, і нічого не залишає цю теку, доки ти не натиснеш «зберегти». Буфер стирається, коли ти виходиш із програми або вимикаєш його в налаштуваннях.
• Налаштування зберігаються в параметрах програми на твоєму Mac.

Дозволи

macOS питає твого дозволу, перш ніж програма зможе записувати екран, системний звук чи мікрофон. Вони потрібні лише для записів, які ти запускаєш. Будь-який можна відкликати в Системних параметрах › Приватність і безпека.
